AEIOU – A Daily Step 10 Tool for Reflection & Growth

Writing makes it real

When we take 5-10 mins daily to write a record/diary/journal of what's happening inside us - we can avoid getting lost mentally, emotionally or spiritually.

We’re not just keeping a record — we’re building self-awareness and we can notice the small shifts that matter. This can help us reflect, grow, and stay connected to our own journey — one entry at a time.

A quick check-in every day helps build clarity and resilience.

Why A-E-I-O-U ?

AEIOU has a simple structure — based on the vowels — to help you explore different areas of your life.

How to Use AEIOU

  1. Log in each day if you can. It's fine if you miss a day - but the more consistent you are - the stronger you get.
  2. Write briefly in each section (or skip as needed - all sections are optional)
  3. Optionally track your mood
  4. Save your entry — it’s only visible to you (unless you share it - see below)
  5. Review your progress with summaries and charts

✏️ You Can Edit Today’s Entry

You can come back and update your entry any time during the day — maybe something shifts or you remember something later.

But once today becomes yesterday, your entry is locked. This helps protect your journal’s honesty — it becomes a true record, not a rewritten version.

You Can Share Today’s Entry

If you’d like, you can share today’s journal entry with someone you trust — maybe a sponsor, a friend in recovery, or someone who supports you.

Just click "Share" after saving your entry. They’ll get a one-time link they can use to read only that day’s post. Nothing else is visible. You stay in control.
